It does make you wonder.
Over 450 people were invited to a no-strings, useful event where support and advice could be obtained from our fellow practioners.
Guess what. Two people turned up. This shows me - as a seasoned organiser of over 30 years - that the spirit of community
and spirit of networking is well and truly on the wane. In difficult times the instinct should be to gather together for strength.
Instead of that, you choose to run into your bolt holes and panic.
By contrast, the Indian branch of SWA is going
a storm. Good for them say I.
There will be no more networking attempts for the forseeable future, and I shall
be turning my attention to the Brahma Kumaris World centre in North West London, a place of genuine spirituality and networking
- and all done for love.
Please dont write to me saying you 'meant' to come. It's too late for that.
You voted with your feet and that says it all.
Om Shanti
"How to deal with difficult clients"
6.30 for 7pm We finish when we finish.
Yes, we attract what we need but are we obligated to help everyone who comes
to us? What does 'difficult' mean? Yummy cake and stimulating conversation. Come on now,
we all have had lots of experience of clients good, bad and indifferent so here is a chance to put all our wisdom in a pot.
Who needs books when we have about 500 volumes within us collectively?
Market place - an idea just occured to me
- does anyone need anything? Rooms for sessions? specialised advice? A book that you have been trying to get hold of. Chances
are someone will be able to help you.
We are at 109 Thurlow Park Road Dulwich SE21. Parking
in adjacent streets. Follow the balloons. Enter property and walk to the left of the house. Come up the second
set of steps to the left (illuminated). Yes it will be dark but there will be candles as well so you won't go wrong. Refreshments
on arrival and a £5 donation from everyone please. We even have a map, click here. GOOD IDEA TO PRINT IT OUT. THE DARK CAN BE DISORIENTATING. You enter exactly where the tip of
the arrow is. Frequent trains from Victoria (12 minutes) then a 5 minute walk from West Dulwich station (Orpington line)
or parking is free round the corner.
Om Shanti

We had a very interesting 'first birthday' meeting Sunday 12th October.
Because the weather was so good we had a good social on the patio before starting the meeting in the community room.
Gatherings will take place regularly both on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons to accommodate everyone's schedules
though finding a right time for everyone is impossible.
We shall have a theme of interest to everyone and there
will be a chance for relaxed networking (not Speed Networking).
It was decided to keep the venue the same so that
it will become familiar. The idea of travelling to South London may cause some cultural disorientation to some North Londoners
but at a mere 12 minutes from Victoria you will make it into this strange land.
We shall ask for a donation of
£5 for each evening which will include refreshments. After taking expenses for food etc. half will go to the organiser
and half to SWA.
Dates will be announced shortly and meanwhile do add this page to your favourites.
Thanks
to David and Carole for making the long journey from Essex
