These are bullet points of the main features that were contributed
today. They are intended as memory joggers.
There are some repetitions but I am writing the sheets as they appeared without
any change. They are not even in the right order but you must figure out the order. You might want to CTRL A and copy
on to WORD and move the text around to suit, then add your own material.
Valuing people---
Recognise
the divinity (value) within people People know what is best for themselves People have all the resources they need
to achieve their goal It is THEIR journey but it is a privilage to walk along side People know thier own capabilities People are empowered through the coaching process Coaches learn from clients Coaches facilitate goal achievement Everyone is worthy --------------------------
USEFUL BELIEFS FOR COACHES TO ADOPT FOR EACH CLIENT I
like you. I respect you. You are unique with your own special qualities I (coach) and learn from you. I am
interseted and curious about you You are the expert on you. I am the guide on the side - this is not about me I'll move the angle of the mirror but you won't notice me. ----------------------------
I can ask
me right questions and help the client. Don't judge a book by its coer There's never a worng answer I
put the 'now' back into people's lives Expect the unexpected Don't assume what they will say Don't presume the questions Listen with two ears and your brain Don't impose your own beliefs The
client knows themselves best Keep an open mind and a relaxed mind Listen = 70% of your coaching Don't proejct
your own beliefs on client I am worth every penny. I can make a difference ------------------------------

to find a solution - that the coaching process works - can make a difference - are not operating at full potential

To have a belief that I know nothing about this person , their experiences they worries and their goals. Self
belief (coach) and positive mental attitude Don't judge a book by its cover I accept you unconditionally as
a human being There is a safe confidentiality and a secure environment The client has the tools/resources within
themselves The coach has the tools/resources to help the client achieve outcomes Respect the unique worth of each
individual Having an acceptance and a diversity of ideas thus moving the process forward Coaches self awareness
to have flexibility to change to accommodate client Everything I say and do has the power to influence other people ----------------------------
USEFUL BELIEFS - everyone has always done their best given the support they
have had. - reality is only your perception - everyone is different - their goal is achievable to them -
Trust that the process works - trust that the client does have the answers - Silence in good / powerful / golden - No such thing as failure?!?! To discuss.... -----------------------------

beliefs everyone is master/mistress of their own destiny everyone is different: the sum total of their experience to relate to people beyond what we see every point of view is as valid as our own not everyone knows what their
goals are everyone's goal is personal/specific to them I don't know best for you Every small
step should be celebrated Self belief - I can make a difference to people's lives Everybody is on their own
life long journey Not every coach fits every client and that's OK -------------------------------------
My experience of a situation is different to someone else's Don't judge a book by its cover My view
